Welcome!!!
Welcome to the website of the Lambinators 4-H club of Scioto County, Ohio. This site was established in June of 2001 as a means to communicate with the club. We had no idea that it would become so popular with the public from all of the state, country, and even world! The site was built for our club, but the information on here is available to anyone and everyone. Enjoy!

4-H Teen Council Applications Due
Applications are now being accepted for the 2008-09 Ohio 4-H
Teen Council. Information and the link to application materials
are posted at http://www.ohio4h.org/youth/Ohio4HTeenCouncil.html. The Ohio 4-H Teen Council is a statewide group of outstanding 4-H teens and young 4-H alumni selected to provide a youth stakeholder perspective in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Ohio 4-H programming. As a result of participation, 4-H Teen Council members develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and aspirations needed for adult success, and the Ohio 4-H program
is strengthened and expanded. There is no limit to the number of applicants each county may nominate, but preference in selections will be given to those who have state level leadership experience.

Livestock Quality Assurance
This year, instead of our usual April QA event we will be partnering with Pike County Extension to hold joint QA Livestock Clinics. All of the clinics will be held on the evening of Tuesday, April 29, at the Pike County Fairgrounds. These Livestock QA clinics will feature sessions on beef, sheep, swine, poultry, goat, and dairy cattle.
Members, parents and volunteers are encouraged to attend the April QA clinics to obtain valuable project information and their 2008 QA certification. Hands-on activities and specific specie information will make these clinics very informative and even
fun!
