These pictures were taken after these four lambs were fatally injured by dogs in May of 2001. Two dogs were involved, a pit bull and a black shepherd. Be aware the pens were inside a closed barn, about four and a half feet in height with another four foot of wire mesh above that. The dogs dug under the fence in a spot where there was no concrete footer for the pens. The dogs' owners had to pay a fine for not having their dogs licensed. At an earlier dog attack 11 lambs were killed by a pack of dogs. All of these dogs were eventually shot and killed. The state attorney general's office, sheriff, and county judges were all contacted.
